The Grand Hotel Majestic, the oldest and most prestigious hotel in Bologna, sits in the heart of the city on Via Indipendenza, in front of the Cathedral, within walking distance of Piazza Maggiore and the famous Due Torri.
How to reach Grand Hotel Majestic during weekdays
Take bypass (“tangenziale”) exit n°7 and continue on Via Stanlingrado, towards city center(“Centro”).
Past the bridge on Via Stalingrado, turn right at the traffic light towards the Railway Station.
Keeping the Station on your right, turn left onto Via Amendola and continue straight (Via Amendola is one way therefore cars are not allowed to drive in opposite direction).
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Via dei Mille (ignore traffic restriction signs on Via Dei Mille since we are authorized to let our Guests through).
Turn right and take Via Independenza.
Your destination is on the right.
How to drive out of the center of Bologna
From the Hotel, turn your car around and drive through via Indipendenza towards the Bus station. At the second traffic light, at the end of via Indipendenza, turn right onto Viale Masini. At the third traffic light, turn left on via Stalingrado and follow signs to the Bologna ringroad (“Tangenziale di Bologna”).
How to reach Grand Hotel Majestic during weekends and bank holidays
Take ring road(“Tangenziale”) exit N. 7 and follow Via Stalingrado towards the city center (“Centro”).
Past the bridge on Via Stalingrado, turn right at the traffic light towards the Railway Station
Keeping the Station on your right, turn left onto Via Amendola and go straight onto Via Marconi after the roundabout (Via Amendola is one way, therefore cars are not allowed to drive in the opposite direction).
At the 1st traffic light after the roundabout, turn left onto Via Riva di Reno, keep going up to the end of the street and turn right onto Via Galliera.

How to leave the center of Bologna during weekends
From Via Manzoni, take via Parigi and turn right on via Nazario Sauro.
At the crossing with via Riva di Reno, at the traffic light, turn left and keep going straight. At the second traffic light, turn right onto Via Lame.
At the end of Via Lame, follow signs to the train station. At the fourth traffic light after the station take a left onto Via Stalingrado, then follow signs for the Bologna ringroad (“tangenziale di Bologna”).
